The mission of AMMAN SAGO FACTORY is to provide our customers with quality sago/ starch manufactured in clean surroundings without using any adulteration, keeping in mind our customers health and well-being.
Why It Is
The tapioca skin (peel) contains high level of cyanide hence it must be peeled before using for consumption.
In order to make extra gains, most factories do not remove the skin of the tapioca and since cyanide produces a pinkish blue color under heat use HARMFUL
ADULTERANTS to make the sago or starch bright white.
At AMMAN SAGO FACTORY we use automatic peelers and to make sure the skin of the root is completely peeled. All the roots are individually manually inspected and
if any skin remains it is removed manually a method followed only by AMMAN SAGO FACTORY. The tapioca is processed naturally with potable water without the use
of ADULTERANTS keeping in mind the well-being of our customers.
The removed peel from the tapioca root contains certain quantity of starch which is extracted and used for industrial grade only.
